Child safety standards

Last updated 24 September 2026

Keep Company is for adults. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report a concern, and what we do about it.

What is not allowed

No child sexual abuse or exploitation, ever

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content or behaviour that sexualises a child, is completely forbidden. There is no warning and no second chance: the account is closed, the content is kept as evidence, and the matter is reported to the authorities.

This covers photos, voice notes, messages, profile text and anything else a person can put into the app.

Nobody under 18

You must be 18 or over to use Keep Company. The app refuses to create an account with a date of birth under 18, and an account later found to belong to someone under 18 is removed, whether we find it ourselves or someone reports it. We also ask Google Play to keep the app away from users it knows to be under 18.

The checks that run

How to report a concern

In the app. Open the profile or the chat, choose Report, and pick "They seem underage". The person is never told who reported them.

By email. If you cannot use the app, or you are reporting for someone else, write to care@keepcompany.in with "Child safety" in the subject line. It is escalated as soon as it arrives.

If a child is in danger right now, contact the police first. In India, call 112 (emergency) or 1098 (Childline), and you can report online at cybercrime.gov.in. Tell us as well so we can stop the account, but do not wait for us.

Our point of contact

Our point of contact is Jyotika, who can speak about how we prevent CSAE and how we comply with the law, and can be reached by Google and by law enforcement at any time:

Keep Company is run by Good Life. These standards sit alongside our community guidelines and Privacy Policy, and we review them as the app and the law change.
